GCHS Homecoming Parade:

Students were given a permission form in first period on Tuesday, September 5th for the homecoming parade. The Gilmer County High School Homecoming Parade will be held Friday, September 15th, 2023, during the school day at 1:30 PM. Our students will walk to and from the parade (1:00-2:45 pm) with the supervision of their teachers. As the parade is going to consume the remainder of the school day Friday afternoon, a number of our students will want to sign out and not return to school that day. Please return that form no later than Friday, September 8th so that we are aware of your plans for that afternoon.

GCHS Homecoming Game:

The GCHS Homecoming game will be our Titans vs. Tucker County at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 15th. Homecoming court will be announced at halftime and the king and queen will be crowned. Look out for a special performance from the GCHS band along with some community members during the announcements!

GCHS Homecoming Dance:

The GCHS Homecoming Dance's theme is Under the Stars! The dance for middle schoolers will last from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and high schoolers from 8:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The cost of admission is $7 for a single and $12 for couples.

Dues:

In order to attend the GCHS Homecoming dance, students must have paid their class dues before obtaining a ticket. Middle school students owe $10 and high school students owe $14.  Class dues are used to build class accounts as students move through high school to ensure that there are funds available for activities such as Prom and a Senior Trip.
