FAFSA Workshop

From Mr. Daniel Reed:

The 2024 FAFSA Workshop has been scheduled for January 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Sheri Goff will be here the entire time to assist you in completing your FAFSA. You do NOT need to be planning on attending Glenville State University for her to help you. This is a public service that financial aid offices offer to communities.

You will need to have a verified FSA ID in place 5 days prior to completing the FAFSA. Use the following link to get one: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch

The form will ask for you as well as the your parents' social security numbers. In addition, you will need their dates of birth to complete the form, but only for the parent who provided more than half of the your financial support within the year. If your parents are divorced and remarried, the parent who provides the most support for you will also need to submit your stepparent’s information as well.

If you have more questions, please consult the attached infographic to figure out which of your parents needs to complete the form. If you have issues, we will figure them out when you visit, and we can schedule additional assistance as needed.

In other words, don’t worry, we’ll get you through this!

Hope to see you there!
