Graphic for GCHS Homecoming Week

It's almost time for Homecoming Week at GCHS! Here's what you need to know:

Theme:

This year’s theme is “Welcome to Athens”!  Think Greek architecture, white sheets, gold ropes, greenery, and more!

Royalty:

Students will vote for Royalty on the GCHS Symbaloo. This form will remain open until Thursday at 3:30 P.M . We will vote for King and Queen as a whole school during homecoming week, and winners will be announced at the Homecoming football game.

Spirit Week:

Spirit week dress up days are as follows:

Monday: Shades of Gold – Sport your most stylish sunglasses and shine in gold or metallic colors to match the Olympic torch’s vibrant glow!

Tuesday: Team USA – Show your red, white, and blue as we kick off Homecoming week in style!

Wednesday: Gold Medal Glam – Shine bright with your most glamorous Olympic-inspired jewelry and accessories. Think gold medals, sparkly rings, and glittering earrings!

Thursday: Divine Deities – Step into ancient Greece and embrace the glory of the gods and goddesses! Each class will be assigned a god/goddess with a corresponding color to wear.

Friday: Toga Triumph Friday – Don your finest toga and join us for a day of historical fashion! (Don’t forget, you MUST wear clothes under your toga!)
