2025 West Virginia School Learning Environment Survey for Parents/ Caregivers Parents/caregivers are asked to complete an online survey about school climate—the learning and teaching/working conditions—to help guide school improvement efforts. The results of this survey will be used to make changes in their child's school to ensure a supportive environment for teaching and learning. Do you need some extra assistance completing your FAFSA to get financial aid for school next year? Did you miss the workshop we had at the high school the other evening? No worries! The folks at Glenville State University are hosting a FAFSA Day on February 6th from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and you’re invited! This is just one more opportunity for you to receive help from experts who can guide you through this process. Keep in mind, you do not have to be planning on attending Glenville State to receive help from them. This is a community service that they offer to everyone in our area.

📢✨ Gilmer County Spelling Bee Results! ✨📢 Gilmer County Schools would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible students in grades 4-8 who competed in this year’s Gilmer County Spelling Bee! A total of 27 students showcased their spelling skills on Wednesday, January 29th, at the Central Office Board Meeting Room.
