📢 Run Run Reindeer 5K Cancelation Notice After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Run Run Reindeer 5K scheduled for December 13, 2025. Due to lower-than-expected participation and unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to move forward with the event as planned. We appreciate everyone who showed interest and supported the idea, and we hope to revisit this event in the future when we are able to provide a fuller, more successful experience for our runners and walkers. Thank you for your understanding, and please continue supporting our students and programs here at GCHS. ❤️💙 — Gilmer County High School Cross Country Team

The top features the HOBY logo and the slogan “LEADERS BUILT HERE.” The page highlights statistics about student growth after attending HOBY seminars—for example, increases in leadership confidence, skills, and how others view them as leaders. Several keywords such as “Belonging,” “Educational,” “Empowering,” “Connecting,” and “Life-Changing” appear with simple blue icons. The flyer includes quotes from past participants describing HOBY as confidence-building and supportive. Additional sections note that there are over 500,000 alumni, more than 70 seminars nationwide, and that the program is almost entirely volunteer-run. At the bottom, the document explains HOBY’s mission, describes the State Leadership Seminars and World Leadership Congress, and emphasizes leadership, service, and community impact.

On Wednesday November 19th, the 3 middle school homerooms with the best attendance for the month of October were rewarded with a pizza party! Miss Brittany (CIS) and Mrs. Workman delivered pizzas to Mrs. Allen (6th grade), Mrs. Ramezan (7th grade) and Mrs. McHenry (8th grade). The pizzas were generously donated by Aramark.

Congratulations to these students for their excellent attendance. Keep up the good work!
