📣Tryouts for the Varsity Cheer Squad will begin at 4:00 PM on Monday, August 11th, at the Board of Education gym! If you are interested in cheering for fall and/or winter sports, you must try out at this time. There will be no other tryouts this year. There will also be a mandatory parent meeting will be on Monday at 6:00 PM at the BoE gym. Summer School will be delayed ONE HOUR on Friday, July 18th. This will allow more time for students to engage in the planned filed trip activity. For example, if your child typically gets on the bus at 7:30am, they will get on the bus at 8:30am; if they get off the bus at 2:30pm, they will get off the bus at 3:30pm. If you have any questions, please call your child's school office. Thank you!

This report will let you know what subject they are working on, how much progress they have made to completion (100% =Completed!) and their grade at this time in the class. Summer Menu 2025
GCHS hosted the annual Athletic Banquet on Sunday, June 1 to celebrate the achievements of our 2024-2025 student-athletes. Allie Ellyson (basketball), Ava Dobbins (volleyball, basketball), and Braylon Mencer (golf) were recognized with plaques for earning all-state honors. Ellyson also received a game ball to commemorate her incredible career—over 1500 points, 2025 LKC Player of the Year, and 2025 Class A All-Tournament MVP. Mrs. Crystal Conrad was honored with the 2025 LKC Service Award for her contributions to GCHS athletics. The Damon West Award, given each year to the most outstanding senior athletes, was awarded to Austin Stewart and Layla Smith. Congrats to all of our athletes who were recognized! #GoGilmer
